Re-Entry and Prevention Program
At Twelfth Street Heritage, we believe everyone deserves a second chance. Our Prison to Workforce Pipeline is a life-changing program designed for individuals who have recently been released from incarceration or who face barriers to employment. Through this initiative, we’re creating real pathways to self-sufficiency, stability, and personal growth.
Participants engage in weekly workshops focused on discipline, work readiness, and life skills. These sessions help build confidence, accountability and a strong work ethic. Foundations that are critical for long-term success.
As part of the program, participants also gain hands-on experience through a partnership with the City of Kansas City, maintaining more than 850 properties each month. This not only offers steady employment but also contributes to beautifying our community and restoring pride in our neighborhoods.
More than job training, this program is about restoring dignity and building a better future. We meet people where they are, walk alongside them, and offer the structure and support they need to thrive.
